We offer general and paediatric services for orthopaedic, orthopaedic oncology and bone and soft tissue tumours.
We provide expert treatment for musculoskeletal tumours including primary & secondary bone tumour, soft tissue sarcomas and metastatic disease.
Richard was awarded a scholarship at St Mary’s Hospital Medical School London and completed degrees in exercise physiology, medicine and surgery with prizes in Anatomy, physiology, endocrinology, histology, pathology and gynaecology.
UK fellowship training in orthopaedics was on the Cambridge rotation and whilst in Norwich won the Carlile medal for research looking at accelerated rehabilitation in knee replacements.
Subspecialty training in complex limb reconstruction and Orthopaedic Oncology was undertaken in Perth with Professor David Wood, and Vancouver, Canada on the highly competitive University of British Columbia arthroplasty fellowship, as well as being awarded an AO Fellowship in Trauma at the Rocky Mountain Trauma Centre in Denver Colorado and in Sports Knee Surgery with Mr Tim Spalding at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwick.
